Description of the additive
Rock salt is widely used as a mineral supplement feeding of livestock. It increases metabolism in the body involved in the construction of body tissues and regulation of a number of physico-chemical processes. Sodium chloride plays an essential role in the formation of gastric hydrochloric acid, stimulates appetite and enhances the secretion of digestive glands. Salts of sodium and sodium chloride excite the motor nerves of the intestine and thus enhance their peristalsis.
The shortage of rock salt in the body leads to indigestion, followed by the total disruption of metabolism.
